Without a doubt one of the trendiest bars in Dubai, Honeycomb Hi-Fi in Business Bay is a brilliant spot if you’re into music. Based on an izakaya, there’s a Japanese-inspired menu, as well as innovative mixed drinks to wash it down with. But back to that music – Honeycomb Hi-Fi features a music listening station, a vinyl record store and a book shop, as well as a roster of top DJs and musicians entertaining bargoers and keeping the bar, well, buzzing.

2. Attiko
One of the best bars in Dubai, and certainly one of the coolest, Attiko can be found on the 31st floor of the adults-only W Dubai – Mina Seyahi. Boasting some of the best views in Dubai, a visit here means soaking in the sights from JBR and Ain Dubai across to the Palm, Burj Al Arab and beyond. 3. Ling Ling
Ling Ling is a bar, a restaurant, a lounge – it’s all in one and for that reason it’s a prime place for a night out. Set high on the 23rd floor of the iconic Atlantis The Royal, Ling Ling opened in early 2023. A little sister of cool Chinese restaurant Hakkasan, Ling Ling is a cooler, more nightlife-y venue, and it’s proven to be a popular spot for a date night or special occasion. The mixed drinks are creative and the views are something special. One of the best bars in Dubai, this one is a must-visit.

4. Alma Bar
Born in London’s Soho, Alma Bar opened in Dubai in mid-2023, nestled away in the cool Latin American restaurant Sucre. Boasting an impressive mixed drinks menu and an intimate vibe, Alma bar is all plush furnishings and a luxe air. The vibe picks up the later it gets, and this hidden away spot is well-worth a visit next time you’re in DIFC, whether you’ve dined at Sucre or not.

5. Bar du Port
Perched on the water at Dubai Harbour, Bar du Port comes from the team behind some of Dubai’s best nightlife venues – think WHITE et al – and it shows. This slick spot focuses on doing nightlife well with a lively vibe, cool crowd, expertly mixed drinks, a decent grape list. Add this to the stellar views and the holiday feels of the location, you’ll more often than not find you have to book in advance to secure a spot here, especially when it comes to the party brunch and ladies’ night.

6. Caña by Tamoka
One of the best beach bars in town, and overall one of the best bars in Dubai, Caña by Tamoka is a vibe. Set right on the beach at JBR, this Latino beach bar is part of the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Dubai, and though this shows in the excellent service and premium drinks list, there are no airs and graces at this toes-in-the sand spot. Boasting stunning views out to sea and across to Ain Dubai, be sure to swing by at sunset for prime photo opps. Hailing from Beirut, Iris is one excellent bar. From the same team as Bar du Port, you can expect big things from Iris, and it delivers. Found at Meydan, just in front of the massive racing grandstand, the sprawling bar has stunning views of the city skyline, with the glittering Burj Khalifa front and centre. Add to that an excellent mixed drinks menu, a premium grape list (with decent deals), live music and some of the coolest loos in town, Iris is one of the best bars in Dubai.

Many of Dubai’s best bars feature stellar views, and Monkey Bar is no different. Set just across from the stunning architecture of the Museum of the Future, Monkey Bar can be found in the quirky 25h Hotel.
