The multi-course experience ends with sorbet and a creamy dulce pannacotta, with an Indian twist.
Folly
Folly’s degustation menu offers a seven-course experience under Dhs500 and features some delicious dishes such as scallops with caviar, a unique zucchini dish made with tunworth cheese, a turbot with braised fennel, dry-aged beef, a pre-dessert and an actual dessert. Located in Souk Madinat, the stunning venue is worth enjoying during nicer weather as the terrace is one of the most beautiful we’ve seen in Dubai.
Tresind
One of the best Indian restaurants in Dubai, Trèsind offers up a delicious five-course tasting menu, available daily between 7pm-11pm and it is definitely worth the money. You’ll start with the famous pani puri, paired with missi roti and green chilli butter, followed by a prawn and asparagus salad, zeera aloo espuma, and tomato rasam. The mains include a velvety sarson ka saag, jackfruit kofta, chicken khassi curry, and zesty barramundi salan, served with warm onion chilli paratha. To end the meal, you’ll get the black forest mithai tart and paan cotton candy.
Uchi
Japanese-inspired fine dining restaurant and bar Uchi probably has one of the most reasonably priced izakaya tasting menus in town. Located in the heart of DIFC, Uchi’s tasting menu includes seven courses made with ingredients that are prepared daily priced at just Dhs190.
Head there on weekdays between noon and 3.30pm and you’ll get two appetisers, two sashimi, one tempura dish, one main course and one dessert. Created by chef Ciprian Porumbac, we bet this is the most affordable tasting menu in DIFC.
Cinque
Head to Cinque and experience an 11-course Italian fine dining dinner personally hosted by executive chef Mauro Di Leo. Expect a range of Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes with an umami twist. The menu changes seasonally, but you can expect to find dishes like black cod with miso, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño and yuzu ponzu, and wagyu beef with roasted vegetables and truffle ponzu. The tasting menu is a great way to sample a variety of Zuma’s signature dishes. It is also a good option for special occasions.
L’Atelier Robuchon Dubai
It offers a gourmet tasting menu which includes eight dishes that will undoubtedly impress any French food-lover. You’ll start with a seasonal amuse bouche followed by a fine scallops carpaccio topped with Beluga caviar, foie gras served with a glazed apple roll, langoustine ravioli with truffle, marinated black cod, milk-fed lamb chops and the pièce de résistance, an 18-hour beef Bourguignonne served with Jöel Robuchon’s world-famous mashed potato.
